New flower you left me no choice (:
you but for some reason or the other never got an answer out of you.
Maybe the sisters can help me to persuade you to answer my question.

New Flower PMd me over the weekend letting me know things had been stressful at work for her, and she had some HR questions for me -- I heard from her again on Sunday evening, but nothing since then. I'm assuming your workweek has probably been very busy, New Flower?

When Ayse is worried, you better answer her -- she might send you a bouquet of flowers if you don't
Hope you're okay, Olga.

Ayse and all my dear friends,
I am doing Ok, having very stressful situation at work. I guess I cannot handle the stress, and feel I have nobody there to turn to for support or help. Yes, it is tough one. Performing well under pressure used to be a strength of mine, it was before Taxotere/Cytoxan, radiation, lymphedema, osteoporosis, and anti-estrogen therapy
I saw my oncologist last week, my blood work looked good, I am still dating my NED.
Thanks again
Hugs,

And to hear you are still with NED is even better. I am so sorry about the
stress at work. I know what you mean, I used to THRIVE on stress but those
days are O-ver! I need to reinvent myself.. not sure how but I'll see.
It sucks when you don't have a trusted person at work, been there and
can relate too well. I'd be lying if I said I am not holding it against them.
My treatment of when I got really sick has left a bad taste in my mouth.
I hope you will get it resolved to your satisfaction and grace us with your
company on the boars soon.
Love,
Ayse
PS Victoria, too funny! THAT is quiet a threat.0 -

Sorry about the work stress but so happy you are still NED and all looks good.
I was thinking that maybe what happens with the work stress, performing under pressure is this. Before Cancer, there was pressure and many of us dealt well with it, maybe even thrived under making a deadline, doing that last minute presentation etc. After cancer, we saw what real pressure is. Getting through the tests, the surgeries, the chemo, the rads, the pills and all of the rest and then knowing in the back of our minds that it might still be lurking. Talk about pressure. So maybe, just maybe, our innner mind tells us when we face the "work pressure" that we don't need to be superwoman, to do it all. Just my crazy thoughts on this.
but I am so glad to hear from you and hope sincerely that the work pressure lets up.

Thank you all for your support. I wish could be a superwomen! Weekend was relaxing. I had a new hair cut it always helps.
Tomorrow, Monday starts another work week. Am I so naive that I want everybody to be respectful of each other, do not play political games, and try to get promoted at expense of co-workers. Am I too sensitive to wish my manager to stop micromanage and never blame his reports for mistakes he has made? Why is everybody handling our department situation just fine and I cannot? Lack of estrogen? Oh well...
Please wish me luck this week.0 -

Always wonderful to hear from you! Glad NED is still in your corner, do not let those numbskulls at your work upset you too much! I recall all that and how upsetting it can be, the important stuff is after you work, those who truly care about you work is just that work a means to an end, they certainly have no right to mess with your happiness!
