Rodeo -- Tough Enough To Wear Pink
But also wanted to share that about 10 - 12 of young survivors 20's, 30's, and 40's, support group sang the National Anthem. It was really touching, and sadly I could not believe how many of us bald, beautiful, pink sisters were in the stands, it was also empowering to have so many together!

TETWP
For those who don't know about TETWP (Tough Enough To Wear Pink) you can find out the history of it and a list of PRCA (Rodeo) and other events that are participating in it you can find info at:
www.toughenoughtowearpink.com
We have 2 Rodeos in the area that participate and the proceeds go to the John T. Vucurevich Regional Cancer Care Institute here in Rapid City. The Black Hills Stock Show (Rapid City, late Jan-early Feb) and Days of 76 (Deadwood, late July) are the 2.
You are right - it is quite an experience to see so many wearing their pink - especially when you know many of them who it really is tough for them. Most of the ranchers I know , young and old, would not be caught be wearing pink anytime - other than for TETWP events. Every year I see a few more that finally give in and wear pink to events. Son was one of those but he now wears his TETWP t-shirts a lot and his TETWP wrist band 24/7. Not long ago I found a TETWP shirt at GoodWill that was from some event at Buffalo Chip (Sturgis Motorcycle Rally)last year that was black with pink lettering.0 -
