bladder infections

Take a breath...
More than likely it's a "common" bladder infection that the correct antibiotic can clear up....in the meantime, drink, drink, drink ,drink! The more liquids you can down the better! Also try cranberry juice..but call your doctor, pronto to get it treated.... have you considered seeing an allergist for the ear and nose problems or an ear nose and throat specialist? might be worth seeing one....
Wishing you better days....0 -
Hope this helps!
Kit Kat, I don't know anything about you: your age, your condition, etc. But just to let you know, when I hit 45, my urinary system became very irritable and I had rarely ever had a problem. Suddenly, lots of UTI (urinary tract infections)'s.
Finally, I bought cranberry capsules from Wal Mart (any pharmacy has them) and begin taking them every day. Voila! No more UTI's. Cranberry has a substance that coats the bladder and acts like teflon to keep bacteria from sticking (an oversimplification but I love the visual...lol).
Of course, ask your physician to make sure anything you take is compatible with your meds.
Once we have cancer, we tend to think everything is either cancer or cancer meds related, but sometimes our problems may be from aging or something else. I'm praying your problem is as simple to fix as mine was. Of course, cranberry won't treat a UTI, so get this one taken care of first. Cranberry only helps to keep you from getting a bladder infection in the first place.0 -

Here are some thoughts...
Are you taking Sudafed for the congestion? It makes my ears ring every time, and usually takes two to three weeks after stopping for my ears to stop ringing.
The noise in your ears could also be related to neuropothy or high blood pressure if you have either of those. It's good to have the brain MRI so you can get some peace of mind there.
About 4 years ago I had 5 or 6 UTI's in one year, they cleared up with treatment every time. The following year my period starting changing due to peri-menopause. My gyn said that the hormonal changes explained the UTI's. Could that be the case for you? Regardless, drinking lots of water will help. And ask about the cranberry.
I hope this helps.

I agree with Linda in the fact that something else could be causing your ears to ring, even a sinus infection.
Just please do take a deep breath and know we are here for you.0 -

I had a brain MRI for an intense headache that I had for days and days straight with little relief. I had never had headaches before, so I assumed the worst. Well, the MRI was completely normal--who knows what was up. And, the headache went away.
As for the bladder infections--like Cypress Cynthia, I take 1 or 2 cranberry capsules every day--have been for years. I have not had a UTI since.
I think it's normal for all of use to jump to conclusions--given what we've been through. Think positively, try to relax and take good care.
Hoping all your tests and appointments come out with perfect results,
Hugs, Renee0
