OT: Thank goodness I called the train company!!!!
And found out that I had checked a box when reserving that was only for dutch people with year passes on the train. Bottom line, we did not have tickets for the train for the dutch part of the trip. Silly American! I should know better!!!!
Today, we went to the train station and bought the missing tickets...thank goodness it was now, instead of when we were on our way!!!!
Hugs, Kathi

I take it this is not a popular subject....
It's ok...no trouble...but when it hits page 2 with no responses, I feel like I shouldn't continue posting...
I know it may seem to some that I'm bragging, that is not my intent! In the past, I have been told that I inspire others to see that there IS life after cancer. So I still posted. But I am sensitive to the problem of seeming like I'm coming off as thumbing my nose, so I will not post my adventures if that is so....
I love you all, am not leaving CSN, but I don't want anyone to feel badly as "Well, all she does is brag about all of her travels".
BIG hugs, Kathi0 -

Kathi,
I never once thought that. And it is just like you said an inspiration. I love
reading about your travels. I for one just didn't see it. I think it has something
to do with the volumes on this board. Things get moved down rather rapidly.
So please don't take it the wrong way and continue taking me on your lovely
travels. I am glad you caught your LITTLE mistake on time (;

I don't always comment...and didn't even see this...but I love traveling vicariously through you. You have an amazing gift in sharing the beauty you see...so I'm glad you got the tickets worked out now too.
And you do a lot more the "brag about your travels"...you show us courage, strength, hope and caring.

You won't need to fix
Kathi
You won't need to fix the train stuff cause I'll be kicking your backside to Holland or France or England or wherever you are going. Bragging, not. Sharing your adventures, oh yeah. And as for me, I love hearing all about your bi country lifestyle. The weather, the countryside, the people, the customs, the food, the chocolate (yummy), all of it. It is such a nice respite from all the other. And you are always here giving support, encouragement etc. to everyone. The fact that you have had two bouts (majorly serious too) with the breast and are thriving and living is beyond inspiring. Maybe it was just a busy newsday and that's why so few posts in response. I read it and was visualizing the scramble to set it straight. Please don't even consider not posting about the wonderful life you are living to the fullest. That is the message I get from your posts. Never a brag or a boast just a live life large. YAH

Hey, Kathi--keep posting. It's July 23rd now and I haven't been able to use the computer. My grandkids are staying with me during the week and they dominate the computer. So, I'm happy for you about your trip. I do know how you feel.
