FNA and Biopsy today
My Lymph node seems smaller now since the biopsy and FNA. Is that normal or a good sign?
Thanks for listening! Much love and prayers for you all.

Mine was just a FNA also.Pam M said:Sounds Hopeful
At least I hope so. after my first biopsy (FNA), my knot did not go down at all, and there was no fluid - it was cancerous. Sounds like it's gonna be a long wait - hope you can distract your thoughts. Let us know about Wednesday.
Mine was just a FNA also. My lump did not go down at all after. They didn't take that much. They looked at it right there in the room with me, and confirmed it as SCC.0 -

The surgeon refused to tell me either way right there, Said he had to send it to labs. But they did take quite a bit of stuff from me with the FNA and the core biopsy. He was in there "digging" (as my husband called it) for about 25-30 minutes. The node is by no means tiny now, just seemed to be smaller after they were done. Still very visable when looking at me. I dont know, maybe I am just getting my hopes up because they did actually get some fluid out. My husband says it doesnt appear smaller. Maybe its all in my head Either way, I should know by Wednesday and I will let you all know. Thank you for continued support while I worry at what could be nothing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all daily.0 -

Yep, they were digging for a while on me too. Mine felt like two parts to my lump. I think one part was lymphnode and one part was tumor on my salivary gland. One felt a bit squishy and softer, the other was hard. IIRC, they took from both parts. I didn't think it was particularly painless, either.0
