I am not sure about normal
I am not sure about normal but I wanted to reply with my experience. When I had mouth blisters, I was put on two medicines. First was the standard magic mouthwash which helped but I hated. The other was called Mugard. It coated the inside of my mouth and helped protect it. The Mugard was a relatively new product.0 -

Thanks JimboC. My husband ended up in the hospital. He had dehydrated from so much vomiting. He has been in the hospital for a week now. The Drs. have the vomiting stopped and the blisters in his mouth are doing better.....but now he has bacteria in his blood. The Drs. say this is from the blood they had to give or else his port has become infected. It seems like it will never end. I miss him so much and the all the fun we used to have. We used to travel and actually have a small trip planned in the end of Sept. He is looking so forward to going. I just hope he is able. Anyway...thanks again for your response.

Hi Jan
So sorry to hear your husband is having such a bad time. I know exactly how you feel. When my husband, Alan was recovering from his Ivor Lewis op and having radium and chemo, many times he was in a really 'bad place' and I would talk to him about the holiday we would take as soon as he was well enough. Sometimes even wondering if he would ever get there. But he did and we had a lovely
time. Just hope you will be able to say the same in 12 months. Thinking of you.

I came into this forum because my friends Dad was just diagnosed with esophageal cancer and I wanted to help her out. However, my dad is a month out from radiation for tonsil cancer. Ive been posting in the head and neck cancer forum and you should definitely post this question over there. There are many others with tonsil cancer and this is normal. However, they will have some great suggestions for you more than what I can give.
Prayers for your husband and you0
