Last night I had my almost 10 yr. old niece help me make a breakfast casserole for this morning. I told her that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach. My 20 yr. old daughter came into the kitchen. My niece, Kaylee said, "I'm trying to win a man's heart Leah."

Later on last night she was trying to talk my daughter into trading brothers with her. (my son is 23, Kaylee's little brother, Brayden is almost 7) Finally Kaylee said, "Leah, if you will trade with me you should know that Brayden comes with free shipping and handling."

Here is another one to make you smile
My grandchildren keep me going and the things they say are so funny. Just today an old friend came by our house and he wanted to see the grandkids. My daughter called up the street to tell them to come home that someone wanted to see them. They said, "who is it". My daughter told them that it was one of my old boy friends. The little one (6 years old) says..."Elvis is here?".

    You gotta love them.

    HOW SWEET!
Their 'wisdom' is neverending. I used to write every cute thing down that our three daughters would say. Of course, I just couldn't keep up. Now, with two grandsons, we get to relive this all over again. How precious!

    whenever I'm down
remembering the cute things my little ones say never fails to make me smile. Recently a friend of mine lost an older relative. He had a five year old grandson and the family told him that Grandpa had gone "to a better place". He popped out with, "where? Las Vegas?" You can't make this stuff up.
