YAHOO!!! Got approved for Social Security Benefits & Update on PET scan/CT
I have some great news! I got a call today from Social Security and I have been approved for disability and it took me 3 months to get approve. If any of you want to know how I did it PM me and I'll be happy to tell you what I did. To make a long story short my ex husband divorce me a year and half ago for another woman and took me off of everything. I had a job that did not pay good ($8.25 hr) with no insurance and once I was dx with cancer they let me go. So now I will be able to keep my home and pay my bills. Please understand what a relief this is for me. God took care of me!!!!!
I got my results back from my PET scan/CT and the tumor is strinking but the cancer in the lymph nodes has gone up. Not good but it hasn't spread within my body. I will continue with my aggressive treatments and have radiation treatments M-F for the next 4 weeks. I can do it and I will do it. I am fighting this cancer with all my heart. I will keep you posted on how I am doing with all of my treatments. Also I want to thank you all for you love, prayers and support. YOU ARE WONDERFUL!!!!!
Hugs always,
Deb.

Congratulations on Social Security Benefits
Deb,
Congratulations on approval for benefits. It is very good to be able continue treatment with stable income. Sorry about lymph nodes. Hopefully additional treatment will take care of the nodes situation.

I am happy to hear that you have been approved for disability. It is thoughtful for you to offer to help other sisters who need Social Security benefits. It could be that this is your mission and you will gain strength to fight your own battle by helping other sisters learn how to have less of a financial burden while fighting their battle. God took care of you for a reason. Keep fighting cancer with all your heart.
Prayers and Hugs,

It sucks that you had that 3-month ss benefit fight but I'm betting you're so happy with the results. Keep fighting the good fight, Deb--as we all are. Giving up is just not an option and you seem like a true warrior.
