    Thank you for sharing this information. I forworded it to my Dad to read. What chemo drugs are you on? Dad is doing pretty good, but has only had one treatment. He is supposed to have his second treatment tomorrow. His white blood cells were low as of Monday and has been taking shots everyday. They will let him know tomorrow if he can have his chemo cocktail. Other than feeling weak and having a bad headache two days after his first treatment, he has done pretty good. They took him off his blood thinner because his platlets were low and they went back up. Good luck to you and keep fighting.

    It sounds like your husband is really having a hard time of it. My neurapathy started about two years ago. I've been taking Lyrica. It is supposed to be for fibromyalgia, so the insurance company didn't want to cover it. But my doctor figured I must have that, too, (he's so cool) and now the insurance will cover it. It was a fight - but when you hurt all over, who cares what you call it. The Lyrica has been helpful. At first I could hardly walk the pain was so bad, and I was afraid I was going to hurt my feet because they were also numb at the same time. Now I have gotten most of the feeling back. But with that also comes more pain because you can feel more. I'm also on Percoset - thank God! Without that I don't know if I could function very well. I've found that using Moo Lotion (at WalMart) somehow makes them feel better - helps to take away the burning feeling. I wish your husband the best. Nobody should have to feel like this. Maybe some day they will invent a humane treatment for cancer.

    My husband was diagnosed of unknown cancer few weeks ago. His oncologist said they still don't know what type of cancer my husband has and his cancer spread out already and in stage 4. And his oncologist said its treatable but not curable. They found lymph noid in his lungs and also in his neck. He started his first chemo 2 weeks ago and his having his second one next week. They gave him carboplaxin and taxol. Anyone out there in the same boat?
