My husband has stage 3 lung cancer which was in remission then they found another mass that is attached to the sac of his heart so they are trying this medicine. he goes every 21 days for it, knocks him out for 7 days (naseau, weak, no appetite) then he gets better, this is round 3 10 days ago and now he is really having a hard time breathing especially at night that he is not sleeping. X-ray shows no fluids in lungs, so they are going to do an oximeter (spelled wrong) to determine his oxgyen level during his sleeping. Does anyone have this drug and are you experiencing any side effects? Thanks.

    my wife is taking docetaxol
her first regiman (all 6 cycles) of chemo was paclitaxal, carboplatin, avastin and cetuximab.

After a few months the tumor started to grow again. We found a clinical trial of bavituximab. It is paired with docetaxol every 3 weeks. She is having a more difficult time with the docetaxol than on the prior regiman. She is tired for also about 7-12 days after. However, she does have a lower red blood cell count. That is likely a major cause for her. The doctor said this is chemo related. We dont know if this chemo is working or not... our next scan is this week.

    Thanks Dan....
We think things should be good news, but cancer is the most evil, sneaky **** there is. Just never know what you're gonna get. I'll be sure to post our news asap. Thanks again Dan.
