Prayers for good results
Hi,
Thinking of you and prayers for continued good results. I am approaching my first 3 month scan and blood tests finishing Folfox Chemo. I read your profile and thanks for being there for all of we newbies.
Prayers,

It will be NORMAL!
I am praying and hoping for a normal CEA for you. I won't think any other way! I know it is tough waiting for the results. Sending you a great big hug!

You're doing everything right. Don't worry. I did have an increasing cea, but scans proved my severe worry was all for nothing.0 -

I hope so too. I started at 150 after colorectal surgery, then it starting coming down with every chemo. Since Liver resection has been below 3.5. It did go up 1 pt the last time it got checked. Thank you0 -

4.5, so it is up a point. Seems like a point every 6 months, not liking that but, it's still normal. Phew! I will be sweating it next time!
Mine kept doing that too, for 4 months in a row, boy was I stressing, (onc wasn't) but then it went down almost a point the last time I was there, here's looking forward to it going down the next visit.

That isn't a drastic change but it is a number one likes to see stable or drop.
Glad you're still in the normal range.

Thanks, yeah, I would like to stay closer to 1 then 5. I don't want to take anymore supplements, my butt is already on fire! Must be the tumeric, or ?? Take care!0 -

Hi Raquel,
Glad to hear the CEA is still in normal range, but I know what you mean about not liking to see it go up. Interesting comment about the butt on fire and turmeric. I never thought about this what I experience the "on fire" sensation. I take turmeric daily, so I will try cutting it out on those on fire days and see if it makes a difference.
Enjoy your weekend-
