I tried to send you a private message but it kept failing. Paul was diagnosed 4 days before Brandon and their journeys have been horrifyingly simular. I posted a while ago that we were even due to be in Pittsburgh the same week.
Paul is currently heavily sedated and on a ventilator in ICU at Celebration Hospital, we were told two weeks ago that he would only have a week or two. I am waiting for the difficult questions/answers as to what next, some staff somewhat naively say, don;t worry, he has a good chance of getting better, they mean there is a small chance he will get off the ventilator but with "significant pneumonia" as well as everything else we know that goes with this disease, I am not hopeful. If he does come off the machines.....I am equally horrified for him to return to the suffering and to what end, the best hope would be to say a peaceful goodbye.
Susie, please except my deepest and most sincere condolences, sadly Paul will be joining Brandon soon. We also have young kids and my heart breaks for us both.
Sending you all the love, respect and sympathy only those of us who have been through this can ever hope to understand. Paul is my hero, best friend and soul mate, I feel your pain.
Take good care of you and yours

Dear Julie,
I have been following your journey and I am so saddened to hear of Paul's complications. I cannot even imagine what you are going through, and the only thing I can do is pray for you and your family.

Dear Julie,
It breaks my heart to hear of these young people with this terrible disease and what you young wives are going thru. My prayers and thoughts are with you and Paul and family. It just doesn't seem fair at all only proving truly that life isn't fair but hopefully the afterlife will be. many hugs and prayers,
