Why all the disagreements

in Esophageal Cancer #1
I am a fairly new member here. I come here to get helpful information andinput to cope with this grave illness. I am curious as to ask everyone here "why is there so much infighting and disagreement? I thought we were all here to support and help each other. I think this is behavior is terribly counter productive. Please stop this contest of wills, and let's get back to what we all care about. Support and help and love for the people onthis board.......

    Yes I agree, I think tho in defence of us all the loss of Brendon has really impacted on this site, he was to be one of the success stories, personally I don't know where I would be without this site and really hope we continue to support each other and share invaluable information.

    You are right Fredswilma
    But I can't help but think that this has become a personal sounding board for a few who have personal vendettas or opinions, and who believe that which individual is "in charge" here, which individual knows the most or who can quote from the bible the best!!!

    Let's just get back to helping each other, we don't need all the personal and negative input and "spitting" contests as to who knows more than the other person,or who can quote scriptures. This is NOT an educational or religious venue, it is meant as a supportive and helpful outlet for those of us who suffer or have loved ones who suffer from this terrible illness. I do not personally care about the individual complaints or posturing.

    AMEN!! i used to use this sight but for some reason it just didnt feel right to me. I still come on and read since their is so much good advice and good people. I cry when someone dies and i rejoice with those with good reports. I joined another support group at dailystrength.org and i love it. there is never anyone on that gives me bad vibes or makes me feel awkward. God Bless all of you going through this awful cancer.
