anyone ever use radiapres gel pads for skin? moms skin is starting to burn, just red like a bad sun burn no blisters or open sores.
the nurse gave her radiapres gel bads today to try. we'll see how it goes! they were refrigerator so the coolness also alleviated symptoms.
if anyone HAS used them did you also use your regular cream/aquaphor in between?
if her skin is getting red.. should we try switching creams?? she only has 8 treatments left, i personally felt just getting some redness now is great! her treatment is only unilateral. she has been using miaderm cream everyday and every other day aloe gel.

Hmm. I had radiaplex gel
Hmm. I had radiaplex gel that was in a tube, but not pads. I used the aquaphor, but then the Radiaplex was better. The aquaphore wasn't cutting it where I was very burned. I used the aquaphor on my lips and on my face a little. So I did use both at the same time. Always make sure that there is NO product on during radiation.0 -
Hi bpello
I too did not use the radiapres gel, what I had was like sweet said the aquaphor but did not like it too much, too greasy for me. My wife found a first aid cream with aloe that worked great for me; I just can remember the name of it. Also I now have 5 aloe plants growing in my yard, the stuff it just great for anything.
Wishing you the best
