Good News to Share
I wanted to share some great news! I had my scan last week after a reoccurance in some lymph nodes and my onc. used the words "complete remission". He mentioned that the radiologist called him the day after my scan and asked what exactly he was looking for because he couldn't find anything. I have finished 9 rounds of Folfiri and Erbitux and my onc. wants me to complete all 12. It won't be easy, but I will finish the last 3. We don't know what I will do next...I am not a big fan of maintenance chemo and will discuss this with Dr. Lenz as well. So for today (and hopefully a very, very long time) there is "no evidence of disease".
Hoping and praying that everyone receives some good news soon.
Hugs to all,
Sara

Thank you all!!!
Hi friends,
Thank you so much for your kind words...they mean so much to me. I met with Dr. Lenz and he agreed that i have to finish the next 2 rounds of folfiri and erbitux and then I will have another scan. If things look good then I will have to go on Xeloda for 6 months. I wish I could say that I am all done, but i am thankful that things are going well.
Hope everyone has a wonderful 4th of July!
Hugs,
Sara0
