I am constantly bloated and feeling cramps in my belly.. Last visit with Doc, he had a look in side and said that "I am good to go" No scans. What do you think? I had a scan in March of 2010 immediately after my last chemo and he said he doesen't want to do more scans unless it is absolutely necessary. Every three months I see him and he does paps. june

Follow-ups
June,
My doc can follow my CA125 as it was 500 pre-cancer treatments, and continually went down after each treatment. Today 2 years post-treatments stays around 4 to 6. I've questioned my doc many times on just doing the CA125 for me and he tells me it's a great guide as it is with ovarian. He still does the PAPs and recommends all the other mammograms, colonoscopies, etc. Now he always gives me the option to do a CT scan if it puts my mind at ease. Also, if I have ANY symptoms, such as pain, bloating, discharges, etc, I am to have a scan.
Now in your case you do have bloating so if it were my doc I'd be in for CT scan. Each doc has a different setup, therefore, you might want to challenge your doc and ask for SCAN...think?
You're in control of your body, and if you don't feel at ease, speak with your doc. Put both of your heads together and come up with a plan you both can feel comfortable with. REMEMBER THIS IS YOUR BODY!!!!
Good luck girl,
