Hi Joanne, Thats how I do my scans from now on, I have the scan and see the oncologist the next day. The waiting is the hardest part for me. I will be having the 2nd follow up ct with contrast scan for the lung cancer lobectomy on 7-17, and the next day I have the results. I have you in my thoughts and prayers that you will have great results. My theory is how can any cancer live through the treatment you went through. Have a good day looking for that pc of furniture. Pet Scan Results
My oncologist gets my pet scan results back the same day of the scan if they do the pet scan before noon. You might check with your oncologist to see if this might be possible for you. You are right---the waiting is the worst. They do the the pet scan in the office where my oncologist is located and the results go over the the doctor at the hospital for analysis. Luckily the hospital and his office are within the same complex at Baylor-Plano Texas.0 -
was the plan and is usually how it works at Moffitt, but this time they had to reschedule because of a conflict with the Onc's schedule. Would not be my preference but it was the only choice.mxperry220 said:Pet Scan Results
