I am very sorry
June 18th... A bad day for you... saying goodbye is not easy even when you think you are ready for it. Today was my husband's Life's Celebration... friends, family & coriander... Still reeling with disbelief. Yes, me most of all.
So many days are attached with memories, not just today...
My heart goes out to you today... another day of letting go.
Peace to you.

It was hard to take that a GBM can come out of no where and take a young woman (my wife) in the prime of her life without any prior illnesses. That is so random , so pointless and so cruel this disease.0 -

My father died from GBM about 40 years ago, and it seems that they really haven't made much headway in the fight against that particular beast. It's not lifestyle related and strikes young and old.
I realize this will shock/offend some folks, but this is how I feel: There can't be a Devil, because he never showed up to collect my soul, which I would have gladly traded to cure my father's cancer (and, most recently, my husband's). And there better not be a God, cause he has some serious explaining to do if we ever run into each other.
I'm so sorry you lost your lovely wife this way - it is not in the least bit fair or just. I do hope that you will someday be comforted by your memories of your wonderful lady - she sounded like a real trooper.0 -
Sorry
I am so sorry. I know words won't help. Hopefully, just knowing you are not alone will help you through this time. My prayers are with you. Take time to grieve. Take care, Fay0 -

There isn't anything I can say to lessen the pain. You are in my thoughts.

My rellies have been rather supportive after Graces loss. At least Grace didn't suffer a long drawn out death from cancer like her brother did. I also have one uncle about to pass away from cancer also although he has beaten the survival odds by many months so far but appears on the way out now. 2 deaths of close relatives from cancer close together is a lot to take.0 -

Many Sympathies
So Sorry for your recent loss of your wife. May God bless you and give you the strength and peace you will need in this upcoming year. The first year is the hardest. I lost my dad to EC in March 2010.

I am getting on with cleaning up after her passing. And the funeral to attend to in her home town.
I also have the additional problem of my last blood relative Uncle may be deceased within a day or so from stomach and bowel cancer combined stemming from an initially undiagnosed oesophagal cancer.
This funeral will have to be put on hold till after my wifes.0 -

Take care of yourself. This is a hard time and you are facing additional loss. Just remember that you are important, too. Take time to grieve. We are all here for you. Blessings, Fay0 -

It is a very unusual and difficult time with my family being torn between 2 people dying of cancer within weeks of each other. The medicos were very surprised to see my Uncle survived the night again. Maybe he is trying to keep clear of my wifes funeral.0 -

I am so sorry to hear of your troubles, and nothing anyone can say can take away your pain. Hold on to the memories, and take care of yourself.0 -

I have not been on line due to a lightening strike that blew out my system (and no time to get the new parts), so I apologize for my late response.
I am so sorry to hear about your wife having passed away; so young and so vital; it just makes no sense. I wish there were words to make you feel better, and if they exist, I don't know what they are other than my thoughts and prayers are with you. And your Uncle too; I have no words other than please take care of yourself.0
