A Day with Dad
Hands down, my wish would be for us to be able to spend a day with our fathers and step-fathers. Doug and I were both blessed with great fathers and great step-fathers. I lost my father when I was 11 and my step-father when I was 18. Doug lost his step-father 3 years ago and his father just over a year ago. My father and Doug's step-father were neighbors growing up; my father and my step-father were best friends; Doug's father and my father were both engineers; Doug's step-father and my step-father were both accounting/math majors.
I think it would be a heck of a party. Still, reality is better than wishes - having Doug with us, settling into a very healthy new normal and once again causing his children to wonder where the heck he gets all his energy, makes it a pretty perfect Father's Day for us.
Happy Father's Day everyone.0 -
Happy Happy to All Fathers!
My wish would be that all who are and have fought the fight that when recovery starts it would be shorter and all would accept their new normal and make it for what it is a blessing. God had us in his workshop and adjusted. I know all survivors are challenged with survivorship and how special it really is.
Blessing to all Fathers! God is Great!

I'm almost in tears thinking
I'm almost in tears thinking about your question. Without a doubt would be to have my beloved; wonderful dad back.. if only for a few minutes. This is the 5th Fathers Day without him & year 6 that he was diagnosed with a terminal; chemical related Leukemia. He was such a brave man
Hope everyone had a wonderful Fathers Day0 -

Well Hondo, that's a huge
Well Hondo, that's a huge question, and hard to narrow down. Of course, first would be cures for cancers, but that is also in nose to nose competion for world peace. Then there is always the ever popular wish for more wishes, maybe three or four might do it... In the end, I'm just happy that I and all of you are here to celebrate another Father's Day, so my wish is for all of us dads to have a great day with our love ones.

Just being alive to see my new granddaughter come into the world in August and being there to see them all grow is more than a Father could ever wish for in Life.
God is so good
