Leesa 3.0 about to commence production!
CA125 prior to brain surgery was 284, now it's down to 35! Looks like brain mets does cause a rise in the cancer marker. We'll still keep an eye on it though.
Whole brain radiation starts on Monday. Bad news, will lose hair again. Worse news...it may not grow back. However, in the grand scheme of things, which is better...hair or life? I'll take life any day!
At any rate, we'll be doing the head shaving thing sometime soon. Good thing I have a cute bald head!
You all continue to be in my thoughts and prayers!
Hugs and Healing!

Can't tell you how nice it was to "have coffee" with you this AM. You do have a very cute head and you're sporting awesome CA-125s. Here's to the grand scheme of things.

Thank you!
I'm a bit nervous, you read so many awful stories when you google. (I really need to stop doing that!). My first treatment is tomorrow, and my husband has scheduled a cookout/crabfeast for Saturday! He is being extremely optimistic this time around, so I think I'll just jump on his bandwagon and play along!
I like the cancer free part! I'm kind of hoping God gives a few extra decades after all of this!

I need to stop reading the internet, too. It just seems so grim. I think I have got all the grim I can handle. I need a party and some upbeat stuff. I think your husband's idea to have a cookout/crabfeast is great. :-)0 -

I really wish some of us were closer so we could go out for coffee. I spoke to a gal who had OVC and has gone into remission...for over 12 years. It was great. She was practical and totally got where I was at. The forum here is great but nothing beats the feel of someone infront of you.0
