Can't sleep...biopsy today
Evidently this biopsy is a bigger deal than I thought...They called yesterday to give me my "instructions"...the nothing to eat or drink after 7:00 AM...that it would be an ultrasound guided biopsy and I would be in recovery for 3 hours! And to expect to be there a total of 6 hours.. I wasn't in recovery for my breast biopsy even two hours! I am surmising it must be the location and they have to make sure my throat doesn't swell....I'm going to quiz the he!! out of them when I get there! I developed a huge hematoma in my breast when that was biopsied 2 years ago....I'm trying not to get myself worked up....
So, here I sit...couldn't sleep, anxiety plus the hubby decided to "talk" in his sleep most of the night...grrrr well, mumble is more like it...plus I have tendinitis in my right elbow and couldn't get comfy....Wish I could say it was from playing tennis, but it's not...it's from constantly using my middle finger to type on my iPad....I promise it's not from using my middle finger for flipping people off...although I have given this cancer the finger!
Wish me luck and if you have an extra prayer, I could use it...
Hugs to all,
Nancy

You got it, Nancy
Prayers going out to you right now, Nancy! It's easy enough for me to say "don't get worked up" as you begin what certainly looks like Round Two. But I believe you're going to win this round too. You and your medical team have a good plan for attacking this tumor and your "give cancer the finger" attitude will make the difference!
God Bless,

Nancy, I pray that you can rest mentally and you believe you will be FINE, regardless. I also pray that you get the best possible scenerio for treatment, but for God to also give you the strengh to handle everything and to allow you to come out of the other end recovered and cancer free. Amen.
Please kepp us posted. I hope you get to sleep better tonight. I take ativan when I am anxious and sleep like a baby.

Sending ALL my positive
Sending ALL my positive vibes and thoughts to you. I hope the biopsy turns out to be the better case scenario. But, if not, we are ALL here and you WILL get through treatments once again. Take care and post your results when you can.

Nancy,
I'm praying for you.
Nancy,
I'm praying for you. And I have to tell you what I have resorted to so I can sleep well. I go into another bedroom when I'm ready to go to sleep. My husband doesn't know the difference, and I discovered I needed the rest during the treatments. Of course, with the anxiety of what you're going through, it's no wonder you can't sleep. Please keep us posted.0 -
Nancy
I'm praying all went well today with your biopsy. I'm sure many pink sisters were in the room with you I too had a large hematoma following breast biopsy. Come to find out the dr should have told me to stop taking my baby aspirin! With a bilateral mastectomy it was removed afterall. Sending you healing thoughts.
