Steve is presently having rad treatments to spine. Scheduled for four treatments. Three done and one to go. The pain seems to be getting worse. Doc says a small percentage of patients have increased pain for a short time, then pain decreases.
Just wondering if anyone had experienced this?
Thanks for your info.

Radiation to Spine
My father had radiation to the spine (T1 vertebra) in January/February 2011. The radiation didn't shrink the tumor (the tumor didn't grow during radiation either) but caused a significant amount of pain that continues to this day. My initial thought was that the pain could be caused by the tumor itself but the pain is so variable each day that this is unlikely. His oncologist also attributes the pain to the radiation.
Best wishes,
