checking back in

Hi, Ho... slowly rejoining the world after the last two weeks of cisplatin/gemzar and them gemzar. The cisplatin puts me on my butt! I'll try to play catch up with all that is happening on the board. Just want you all to know that even when I can't be here that you all sustain me everyday.

I'm going to have to restrain myself and not overdo while regaining my strength for my 5 year old granddaughter is coming to visit for on Sat. (yeah). They'll be here for a few weeks between our house and her other Gramma's. Luckily, her other grandmother is my chemo buddy and is very aware of my limitations, even if all the guys in my family aren't.

Also, getting excited for the big Teal There's a Cure Walk/run on July 4th. With so few OVCA events, it's so exciting that this annual event is in my home town. I have a whole team coming to walk/run! My husband and I have ordered team t-shirts (teal, of course!) and I had them put a huge #5 on the back to celebrate my 5 year survival. The plan is to have a bar-be-que at our house afterward.... sounds exhausting to me right now, but hopefully I'll be my energizer bunny self by then!
