Will be praying for you. I had my first mammo since tx ended, in March. I was a little anxious but not to bad. I actually got the results that day, I did not expect to but I did. I was very relieved God Bless

I am sending good luck and prayers for you tomorrow. You don't get your results right away for your mammo? That isn't right! I get mine right after I have my mammo and ultrasound at my cancer center. I thought they did that for all bc survivors.
I'll be with you on the 23rd too!

You will definitely be in my thoughts tomorrow. If you need a hand to hold just reach out and I will be there with the other pink sisters. I also got my results right away when I had my first post treatment mammo. They told me it was standard procedure for bc survivors. I hope you will be able to get yours too so you won't have to worry.

you might not need the pink magic bus tomorrow, but, I am going to wear something pink tomorrow just for you. Let's see..how about my pink tshirt that says I am a Survivor on it? Yea..I like that one!
I wish you would get your results tomorrow. I am sure everything will be fine though, and soon, NED will be knocking on your door with his best clothes on, his dancing shoes and holding his arms out for a very long dance with him!
Seriously, good luck tomorrow and I'll say a prayer too!

Good luck tomorrow! Who knows you might get results tomorrow, at least preliminary ones and go home with NED.
Sending positive thoughts to your way.

I usually don't, but this is the first time I've been a breast cancer survivor. I just wasn't expecting it. I'll let you know if I do. Thanks for the support.

If you don't want to wait a week for the results, some doctors are willing to look them up for you. At Kaiser, the mammo's are read that day or the next. Depending on the dictation system, your primary care or oncologist may be able to look up the results a day or two after. For me the waiting is the hardest part!
The mammo tech is not allowed to give the results. Even if they have been doing mammos for years, they are not radiologists.
All the best!

Good luck! I gotta be honest with you, I've shunned pink from day one of this game, but if it will help, I'll find something pink to help promote good vibes!0 -

Party time!BMS said:My radiology group has a policy that if you are a survivor, they read the results right then on the spot and tell you, so you don't have to sweat the waiting. Wish they all did that.
Positive vibes coming...

I asked for the results. I got them. Everything looks good! I've already seen my labs and they were all normal. I'll just waltz in and right out of my oncology (surgeon and medical) next week. I can't imagine I'll have any negative feedback at either appointment. I don't feel any lumps, mammogram didn't show anything suspicious, labs are normal, what else can there be? Hooray!
