Glenna,
When I came here
Glenna,
When I came here lost and confused over my father's diagnosis several months ago you were the first to post a reply. I want you to know how much that helped me... and how very much it was appreciated. Thank you for all you do for others. I am so sorry you are going through another scary time. I will definitly keep you in my thoughts, and we will be praying for you!!

Hope scans go well. I had 3 today; brain mri, lung ct, and pet. I find out results tomorrow. In a way, I wish I didn't find out until later. I feel so good and am doing so well, I don't want to end the happiness if that is the case! Sending prayers your way!!0 -

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. You will all be proud of me...I made it through the PET without an Ativan...Woo Hoo!!! I think it helped that the technologist explained that this is one time that being short is an advantage as your height is one thing that determines how long you are in the tube. I'm only 5 feet and 105 pounds so I only had to stay in for 20 minutes
jejohn - I'm praying for good results from all 3 of your scans!!!
Again, thank you all for being there for me.
Stay strong,

Thanks for the prayers. I received mixed results. Mets to spine and pelvis are gone. PTL!! Primary tumor is continuing to shrink, but small mets in lung have multiplied and grown a little. Also, new brain mets have surfaced. I start 15 treatments of WBR tomorrow, and then I will go on Tarceva when I am finished. So, could have been worse, could have been better. But, I still feel great and have no aches or pains! For that I am thankful!!! Sounds like you did great during your PET. Hoping and praying your results will be favorable. Keep the faith!!!0 -

Never apologize for not visiting the boards more often, I understand It is nice to see you post once in a while so we all get a chance to say Hi!!!
I'm doing pretty good and hanging in there, not going to let it consume my thoughts...until Monday - lol. I know me and on Monday I will probably sit by the phone watching it and willing it to ring. Unfortunately, as we all know, this does not work
Hope everything is going well for you and each day you are seeing improvement.
Stay strong,
Glenna0
