Grace is dying
GBM from start to finish, a mere 4 weeks. It sucks totally. I had to get home to clean out the bank accounts and whatever else so I can survive with my children so I thought I would post this at the same time. So completely caught off guard, unprepared no life insurance nothing.
I will now go to the hospital to spend the night with her for as long as is possible before the end. She is very peaceful, looks incredibly healthy and pink and beautiful.

I am so very sorry to hear about Grace. Words can not adequately express the sorrow I feel in my heart. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are and will be with you in the difficult days, weeks and months ahead. Please let us hear from you when you feel up to it.

Grace is still clinging to life but all treatment of any type has been stopped. We await the inevitable.

She was moved to her final living destination, long term care with auto morphine infusion pump attached. How long is unknown, but breathing was very shallow and irregular today. i am devastated and in a state of near terror as we await.0 -

Been thinking about you ever since the first post about your dear Grace's decline. Perhaps because I may be facing the same thing with our son down the road. Hope it helps to know that you are not the only ones going through this terrible thing. Please know that you and Grace are in my prayers and thoughts.0 -

My thoughts and prayers are with you also. This is a most terrible disease. it strikes without random, is fatal, and has no known cause and is fast and hard to treat at all let alone successfully.
My wife was fit as they come, had a successful resection and responded well, but it just grows too darn fast. Anyway, her quality of life has been reasonable and she is making a dignified exit from this world. For that I am grateful. I still don't want to lose her, but its inevitable now.0 -

William,
I, for one, am never offended or embarrassed to talk about God or to hear His scriptures. I applaud you for trying to offer comfort in the best possible way you know how....

While waiting at the train station to go to the hospital a strange event happened to both my son and me. My daughter was elsewhere but had a different experience. At around 3:45 at the train station while waitng, a hand seemed to brush against us both in the same intense style my wife does. This also happened to Olivia my daughter at the same time. Whether one believes in religion or not there is some eerily familiar about this and the time coincides with my wifes lapse into a coma.0 -

I firmly believe that was Grace's hand trying re-assure all of you that even when she passes, she will still be there with you.
My mother passed in 1965 when I was only 3 and I have had a couple of "visits" from her since then, at the times when I needed her the most.
You have been Blessed.
Peace.
