Not sure I should even think this way...but it's in the back of my mind

I've had on and off issues with UTI's, infections over the past several years...I just put up with it and ignored it pretty much. Now I'm experiencing constant voiding, blood in my urine, pressure (especially when I lay down at night) to urinate. I'm very bloated, not sure that's why. He's diagnosing me with PBS or IC...which has the same symptoms, but is going to do a Cytoscopy? I'm concerned, but not going to freak out...

They are trying to find out what's going on, because I have female issues as well...painful periods, cysts in my ovaries and uterus...but too small to count..I had a touch of endometriosis...that was burned off years ago...but they're not sure these issues are that or what...it's so frustrating..going through this process of elimination just to get an answer.

I will stay up beat and positive...there's not a whole lot I can do if it is, but to survive. Any thoughts would be appreciated. God Bless all of you.

    I really hope you get some answers soon, as the not knowing is so very, very disturbing. I find that once I know something, one way or the other, then I can digest it and deal with it. It sounds like you've been through a lot, and simply need to get things done and over with if at all possible.

    I'm a male, but I know how upsetting it can be, to be experiencing symptoms that you know just shouldn't be happening. Of course the cystocopy is a diagnostic exam that will help your doctor determine the cause of your symptoms. It is frustrating, but in the end it will be worth it to get to the bottom of things so you can get better.

    I found that I first had to get the right doctors working on me and then I was able to feel better about the process. In the end, they made me all better and I hoping the same for you. Hang in there and let us know how things are going.
