Can you ride the peach bus for just a little while Friday?

in Breast Cancer #1
Just got news that a good friend's endometrial biopsy contained serous cells. They also know an ovary is enlarged. She will have surgery (hysterectomy, BSO, and staging) on Friday. As in breast cancer, there are different types of endometrial cancer, with serous cell being amongst the most aggressive.

So, maybe you could all transfer to the peach bus line on Friday and be with Mary while she's in surgery. I'll drive.

I hate cancer.

    We teach our kids not to use that word when they are little, but it isn't harsh enough for what is happening to all of us affected by this beast.

    Suzanne, I couldn't agree with you more. Cancer in ALL its forms just sucks. Supposedly there is a reason for all the suffering but I sure haven't figured out what it is. My thoughts are with your friend. The Pink Sisters do not discriminate. Are you allowed to eat while on the Peach Bus? If so, I will bring the chocolate bars. Count me in.

    I'm hoping aboard as well, please let her know we are all here for her and send our virtual bundle of hugs and support! I most heart-fully agree cancer in any form is horrible and I wish Mary the best! She will be in my prayers!
