that is great news! It's about time that a dr diagnosed your cough concerns. My husband had a hiatal hernia several years ago and he couldn't drink coffee or have spicy food for awhile and it went away. I take Prilosec and have for many years. Sleeping with you head elevated will also help. I do not eat spicy food although have found that chocolate can give me heartburn. I'm having a colonoscopy and endoscopy at the end of the month to make sure the lining of my esophagus is ok. Maybe you should look into getting a different onc????

Yay to no more coughing
The Magic Pink Bus is indeed magic. I am SO pleased that the cause of your cough is not mets to your lungs and is a mere hiatal hernia. That is so manageable. I said a small prayer of thanks when I saw your post. Congratulations. You give all of us hope.

Great News!!!
Wow, so good to hear this news. Sorry I missed the bus...I must have been out on the boat and did not see the schedule. But it sounds like it was full and I missed quite the party with the gang! Keeping my fingers and toes crossed that all continues in a positive direction for you. Hugs sent your way..........0 -

Chen I am still celebrating for you this morning. I seem to always be the last one to leave and sometimes I suffer for it in the morning. But not today... Let's start the "WaVe" around the bus...
Woohoo...

Isn't it amazing
Isn't it amazing when we find that some medical issue we have is NOT related to cancer. Great news. Thanks for sharing it.

I am so happy to hear that the cough is not mets related. Boy, don't you just wonder where the doctors get their brains sometimes? Oh well, another scare down, and many more to go. Hope you get the relief you need with the Prilosec, and that you don't have to go through this again any time soon. I keep you in my thoughts constantly. Hugs, Judy0 -

So glad Chen that it was just the hiatal hernia. I have one too and spicy foods do annoy it and the tip about sleeping elevated works for me.
God Bless,
