    Birthday weekend
    Well, let's see. Yesterday was my birthday. Bill and I went to a baseball game with the youth group from church. Today we had lunch with our kids and grandkids to celebrate my big day (our son and daughter in-law would have gotten here too late for the little ones last night,so we postponed).

    Tomorrow I'm going to a cancer survivors' day at our local cancer hospital.

    Santa Barbara
    Well ...it's Sunday and the weekend is almost over. A friend of mine from way back wanted me to have a weekend away and she booked the room and we ate, shopped, and margarita-ed in Santa Barbara for a few days. It was so relaxing and beautiful. I got my kids little gifts and myself a manicure. It was funny...a lady kept telling me to sit down in the pedicure chair (with her heavy Oriental accent)and I kept thinking "no way are you touching my feet" (the oxy neuropathy)...lol....so I told her not today and headed toward the manicure chairs.

    It was a great little trip but I was so happy to get home to my family and puppy.
