"Incurable" ovarian cancer
I just finished my chemo May 11/11 and my ca-125 was in the normal range. I was in remission for a year before it haunted me again.
I pray everyday that I can live longer for my daughter as she needs her mom. I am a single mom and am a 3x cancer survivor..(thyroid in 2000). I have a awesome friends to support me as I don't have family so my friends are my family.
I just broke if off with my boyfriend after almost a year due to issues (complicated) but am thankful for everyday I am here!!! I go for my ct-scan on June 17th so see if its in remission and this time its in my left armpit lymph nodes, under collar bone and was crawling up my neck. No surgery !!
Pray for me and my daughter...thanks you

I pray for all of us daily and will add some special prayers for you and your daughter. Keep plugging. I truly believe that when someone really needs us, we manage to meet the challenges and God knows, cancer is a challenge. Love and positive energy is being sent your way!0 -

Hi, Vel....and welcome to
Hi, Vel....and welcome to the club no one wants to join. You will find wonderful support here, as well as many good friends.
What stage was your cancer when they found it? Did I read your post correctly? Did you go into remission right after the doctors said you had only a few months to live? That is amazing! Serves them right, too. I love it when we can make them eat their words!

I am confused by
Dear Vel
I am confused by your post: is your lymph node involvement past or present?
There is a book that might give you some extra ammunition to fight your battle (if you get the message). It's called Anticancer by Dr. David Servan-Schreiber. Not only would you benefit but your daughter would also benefit from the lifestyle changes suggested in the book...it's one thing that you can do to lower HER risk of cancer in the future.
You are proof of the power of prayer as you are already a walking miracle! I will pray for you & your daughter, too.
Many blessings to both of you,
Carolen0 -

Carolen: My left arm-pit lymph nodes are involved now...before it was my ovary so I had a total hysterectomy.
I also got blood clots in my left leg which I am on fragmin now 2x/daily.
My count is in the normal range after finishing 6 rounds of chemo...so I did fight hard for me girl!!!0 -

Have you considered
Dear Vel
Have you considered radiation to the nodes? Are you a candidate for Avastin? Avastin starves the cancer wherever it is by shriveling up the blood supply.
