Thrush
Chemo alone can make you feel weak. I too used to get thrush after chemo and It would make me feel twice as bad. I would get to the point that I wouldnt/couldnt take in enough food or drink to mantain my strangth. Have you tried Difflucan? It is perscription you can get from your oncologist and is a preventative, so you dont get thrush. I also take probiotic pills that are just over the counter from any pharmacy. Buy the live probiotics, they put the good bacteria back into your body and get rid of the bad bacteria. Eat plain acidophilus yogurt and keep your month clean. Brush as much as you can. I even get an extra dose of hydration to help me recover even faster. Hope this helps and take care. Michelle0 -
THRUSH
Denise,
I never had thrush so I do not know if it can make you weak or not.The chemo however will make you weak. It last for quite a while.I have been out of chemo for over 6 months and am now just getting back to normal energy levels. The Ensure will help keep the energy levels up. So do not give up on the Ensure.John (FNHL-1-4A-5/10)0 -
