this quote is from a book "why worry" by a wise buddhist k sri dhammananda.
i hope this title is ok, how much trouble can this post cause. fingers and toes crossed.
isn't a good life the sum total of our good days. hoping today i do some good.
hugs,
pete

Food for Thought!PGLGreg said:This quote from Ben Franklin
This quote from Ben Franklin might be more accessible in the recent collection published by Frog Books (March 31, 2003), "Fart Proudly".
"The essay goes on to discuss the way different foods affect the odor of flatulence and to propose scientific testing of farting. Franklin also suggests that scientists work to develop a drug, "holesome and not disagreeable", which can be mixed with "common Food or Sauces" with the effect of rendering flatulence "not only inoffensive, but agreeable as Perfumes". The essay ends with a pun saying that compared to the practical applications of this discussion, other sciences are "scarcely worth a FART-HING.""0 -
well now this quote applies to us crc on two levels
not sure which is more important the spiritual or the farting. it does not really matter.
but farting is almost spiritual on our house.
now when i fart the kids and even the wife clap and smile. it entirely positive.
thanks for the broader context of the quote and yes highly relevant to crc.
