to hear this news. But you MUST keep positive.
Just wanted to mention that if you haven't looked into TheraSphere Radiation therapy for your liver mets yet, you should. If you google TheraSphere Therapy, it will lead you to their website.
Though it's not a "cure"...it has had promising results and could give you more time. There are several people I know from the Esophageal Cancer board that have had it and it made a huge difference in their quality and quantity of life.
Blessings,
Sally
I agree with you. right now I am on the Xeloda pill and it seems to be working. but i feel so sick most of the time. I had a few good days, but i do not know how long they can prolong my life for. Sick of being sick. I hope that you get better news0 -

Marsha, I am right there with you! My markers have jumped A LOT over the past few months, they are at an all time high of 696. Had a CT scan get the results on Tuesday, very worried! I can actually feel the lump in my breast again and that really scares me!!!
I will pray for you, try to stay positive, I really believe a positive attitude has a lot to do with it!!!0 -

tons of positive energy, good thoughts and prayers. Good news about the bones, but maybe the new drug combo can kick those liver mets into submission as well. Let's all imagine in our minds that as the new drug combo enters your body--boom--right to those spots just exploding them away.
I know it get tedious trying to "stay strong" but take those days when you just can't, go with them, then pick yourself up, and start fighting again. We're all with you, Marsha. Get some strength from us.
Hugs, Renee
Sending you prayers, encouragement and lots of support that your new treatment will work for you Marsha!
