Immunotherapy...

Hi Misty
Cancer immunotherapy attempts to stimulate the immune system to reject and destroy tumors, I got that off the web at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Immunotherapy
I hope and pray that Neil will be able to get the surgery to remove the tumor and then maybe this immunotherapy treatment will have a better chance to work.
Take care

Neil is having surgery next Wed. They are calling it a modified radical neck dissection...sounds very involved, but we are excited! Hey Scambuster, I am trying to figure out how to pm people to no avail, I am still fairly new on here. I did read your profile and have seen other posts by you. The past month we have decided to really focus on diet because everything we read about holding off reoccurence or helping fight this battle seems to always mention diet. Seems like you have alot of information on this. As of now, we have stopped eating fast food and processed foods, we have found a local farm with lots of goodies and have stopped buying food with ingredients we cannot pronounce....its a start!0 -

Misty, if you want to email Scambuster, look at the upper left hand corner of this page. In the top burgundy section you should see a bunch of options to click on. Click on CSN Email. Then hit 'write a new message'. Enter in all the info and hit send.
Diet is very important. I am glad that you have given up fast foods and processed foods. I am eating better now than I ever have. 7-9 servings of veggies and fruits a day and more whole grains. I can't realiy eat packaged or processed foods. Too salty.
Wishing hubby well and hope the neck dissection goes smoothly.0
