It's our way of supporting each other
especially when we have tests, scans and the like. Since we are all over the country, we can only be there in spirit. So we 'board the pink bus'. Everyone has their specialty, brownies, wine, fresh fruit... And we get rowdy! One of of is even known to be a flasher!
Deb, it is so nice to meet you, and I wish it were under much more pleasant circumstances.

The pink bus is...
Our cyber bus where we all cram in and dress however we want and eat whatever we want and listen to whatever music we want, we party, we laugh, we sing, we joke and most importantly, we accompany (in spirit) each sister who has to go to any scan, test or appointment to give moral support, prayer and positive thoughts.
See? No one ever has to go alone!
Welcome aboard!
Hugs,

You're welcome to join us on the Magic Pink Bus anytime we're off to support one another -- just be warned, we get rowdy!
And, next time you have a scan or test or appointment you're worried about, just let us know ahead of time, and we'll gas up the Magic Pink Bus for you and we'll all be waiting out in front of our houses for it to pick us up to go with you!

Welcome Deb
The pink bus is our fun way of supporting each other. We can all be together in spirit when someone needs us. We will be there for you too. We will also be here to share experiences, answer questions and just listen if that is what you need. I am sorry you needed to find us but glad you did. This is a great place.
Hugs,

Well let's just say...
it's a magic ride. And if you keep posting you may just be
picked up one en route. Yes, sure brownies etc.. help with
the magic, but the real magic is when all the kindred spirits
get together to carry a person in distress to the next stop
on the journey!
Very warm welcome to you Deb!

Deb
you made my day! Never think any question is a dumb one. LOL Welcome to the site of pink sisters. We are all here to support one another in any way we can. It's fun to make up things like the pink bus with all of us packed in, making quite a racket. Sometimes we are all in the chemo rooms too like little angels watching overhead.

WELCOME!
You can sit next to me on the bus, although sometimes we stand up to cheer and dance.0 -

Since I'm new here too, I'm glad you asked. I meet with my oncologist for the first time next Tues 5/31 and I'm so nervous it isn't even funny. I told my husband that the waiting has been worse then the actual procedures (biopsy, scans, test, bilateral mastectomy, etc)0 -

I love the descriptions, perfect, I am a quiet member, not prone to flashing or drinking, and our Joe drives it, He also likes /loves Bacon. But its a very real bus for us all!
Oh yes and Welcome, the seats are limitless, but I am hoping someday soon we wont need any more!0 -

Can you all imagine that one day the bus will have no passengers and will have to shut down? The thought gave me goosebumps. I keep telling my 14yr daughter that by the time she has to start mamograms, at 30, they won't be selling those bus tickets anymore!
But for now, all aboard!0 -
