Our Relay for Life is June 3 and 4th. Last year I met someone who was a 18 bc survivor. She got me into Relay for Life(I had been interested). She just got things rolling for me.
Then last year I also talked to another lady who was on her 3rd bout with breast cancer since 2003. She was taking chemo(3rd time) and has a long ways to go. She told me to call her this year so she can walk with me .I did and now we are meeting at Relay for Life for the first time. When I called her she was so excited and Thanked me the pink bracelet I sent her.I had a extra one and wanted her to have it.So now she is joining me and my husband on the Walk.We will probably be called up one right after the other.I was the new one last year(bottom of the list) and she will be a new one this year.
She has been doing chemo since last year about this time. What a long time but she told me she is strong.
