Good idea
I'm praying for your fully recovery and relief in particular so you have a good quality of life. Thank you for sharing. I haven't begun treatments but am also very uncomfortable. I guess like you before all this treatment process. I guess there is no other choice.0 -

Okay...I went to my appointment and after 2 doctors pulling my butt cheeks apart and poking around, they agreed that it's not healing. Dud!! He said it could be damage to the radiation, which has 2 stages. The first of course is the burning of the outside skin in that area, the second being on the inside. It may have damaged my blood veesels causing then to swell so that I don't get enough blood circulation there. He put me back on lidocane, I can't use toilet paper...just the flushable wipes and desitin. I used it before but only when it hurt really bad. He said to use it as I would a baby with diaper rash. And instead of just skimming the surface, pull the cheeks apart and really get the whole area. And Aveena Colloidal Oatmeal. You need a script for it and most insurance companies don't cover it, but I got 2 boxes for $15. and some change. so it's not ufforadle and I've been doing it for 3 days, and it seems to be helping. Hope this helps anyone who was or is going thru the pain I was dealing with. Melodie0 -

Melodie, I'm glad to hear you are feeling better. It sounds like your docs finally know what you have been dealing with and now you can get whatever is necessary to heal. I wish you continued healing and all the best.0 -
