    Another prayer answered...
It's such a relief to hear from you again and to know your treatment wasn't as hard on you as the previous one was.

You are always in my prayers.

    Adversity
I missed you around here but had no idea that you were going through all this.
What a terrible blow that must have been to have gotten that news after you had seemingly beaten the beast.
I imagine a lot of folks would have gotten so down they'd never get back up.
I'm so glad that you did so well through treatment and I have no doubt that prayer and your positive attitude were key. I just wish I had been praying too!
Well it is great hearing from you. When I was diagnosed over a year ago you were one of the strong voices of strength on this board that helped give me hope in my darkest hour.
I will be keeping you in prayer and thanks for showing us your example of how one should handle adversity.

Good to hear you're still slaying the beast. Positive vibes your way for a clean CT scan in August. Cheers

    Jim,

I replied to your post on the other board. I can only add my Prayers to the many you received each day. Glad to see you posting.

I know you enjoy hunting, but for some reason this morning, I can only picture Elmer Fudd moving through the woods.

My Best to You and Everyone Here

So Good to Hear From You
    Jim:

Imagine my excitement when I sat down here this morning and checked in. I've been to Chatt. last weekend for great nephew's high school graduation and then came home on Sunday and turned around and left Monday for Hilton Head till yesterday. My best friend's older son owns a condo there and they were going and the couple that was supposed to go with them couldn't at the last minute and I was more than happy to fill in. I had posted an iquiry about your whereabouts before I left. So glad you made it thru the treatments with relatively smooth sailing. Keep up the good work and prayers are being said daily for you. Good luck and God Bless!

Very Glad to See Your Post
Thought about you and your peppers again - last week - I tried a bite of jalepeno pepper - MISTAKE! ah well - I can eat my beloved catsup, and also mild salsa, so I'm happy (most of the time). Keep doing well - glad to hear you are in that minority whose tumors start responding.

    Yes, HPV is to blame
Actually, HPV was the cause of both my cancers, the tonsil and the lung.
HPV-16 was to blame for the tonsil, HPV-18 for the lung.
Have I mentioned that HPV is one of my very least favorite things?
