Husband lung cancer spread

Waiting
seems to be the hardest part of dealing with cancer. I am not sure what your options are since your husband is incarcerated but I do not see any reason you could not find out medical info pertaining to your husband. Once he has an oncologist (cancer doc), and/or neurosurgeon, I would think you could contact them for info. As far as treatment, it is his call. I do hope and pray that your husband allows you an opinion in treatment options. This is never an easy journey to be on and it is very emotional for all involved. Treatment options are varied according to what type of cancer and the stage of the cancer. You said he had a biopsy and as soon as the pathology results come back, they will know more. I hope you are able to be informed. It sounds like your situation is not going to be an easy one. I am sure that someone on this board will be of assistance and offer some good suggestions. Be strong! God bless0 -

Find out when his surgery is sched. and they will tell you where to wait and the Doctor "should come out and talk to you", we also had to sign our names in etc... in the special waiting rm when Mom was having her surgery.
My prayers are with you, the unknown and the waiting is awful.0
