Entering a new season

Hi, everyone:
My wife had surgery for urethral cancer over three weeks ago, and is healing at home these days. We have a long road in front of us and there are still a lot of unknowns in our near future: what will the tumor board say? how do we incorporate so many changes into our lives? how do we make the best choices possible? I can only say we will face things together, and we are so thankful for the love and support of friends, family, and all of you in this forum. Three weeks ago I joined this network and stated I was seeking a community, and I have found one.
This weekend, we celebrate Mother's Day. In North America we also mark the beginning of solar summer, the time of year when we have the greatest amount of sunlight. And with its arrival I sincerely hope we find a new season of hope and strength and resolution for all caregivers, those they care for, and their families. I have received comfort, advise and support here, and I wish that for all of you in the future.
Here's to a new season filled with hope and a better tomorrow.

Thinking of you
Hey Con
Thanks for posting. I will be thinking and praying for you and your wife. You guys have come a long way. There is a light at the end of that tunnel. Keep going. Stay in touch and hugs to you both.
