So glad he came through the surgery with flying colors. Prayers are with your family.

Hi Jan
Thanks for thinking of us and asking! My dad is doing pretty well so far! He has had a couple of somewhat minor issues that had him back to the doctor a few times, and certainly isn't back to his normal self, but we are amazed at how well he is doing. He actually went back to work the week after he returned home from surgery. (Mind you, he owns his own small business so he works shortened days (desk job) and he brought a lounge chair to take naps in his office when he is tired. He is the type that mentally NEEDS to work (he won't retire!) so this is good for his state of mind). His pain level has been tolerable, he weaned himself off the strong pain meds quickly because they were causing him to feel very anxious, so he has been managing with some weaker stuff. All in all, so far so good.
Hope your trip was enjoyable and that you and your husband are doing well!0 -

Hello Dana!
So glad to read the update about your dad. Praise the Lord! Tell him to take the recovery slow. Slow and easy wins the race. Keep us up to date ok? Thinking and praying for all of you.
