New CT Scan

in Kidney Cancer #1
I had a partial nephrectomy in 12/09 cancer was in the upper pole of my right kidney. I just had a CT Scan done withour intravenous contrast due to ckd in the ER, it shows I have a 2mm non obstructing calculus on my lower right pole. Could this be a cancer recurrence?

    Ask the doctor.
    It is common for there to be cysts on your kidney which may or may not turn out to be RCC. At 2mm it is extremely small and is something the doctors will no doubt watch from CT scan to CT scan. That is my opinion from having had these little rascals showing up on my CT scans over the years. Any specific question about your CT results should be directed to your doctor.
