Nerves
Pet scan is critical tomorrow and my poor brain is having a rough time focusing on anything else. I think it's time to bring out the zanax.
I wish the weather was a little warmer today I'd be out in the yard diggin in the dirt while I can. I may just have to layer on the clothes and find a warm hat. I've said it before I love being bald, however when it's cold???BBBBRRRR
Thanks guys, just needed to vent it out.

Beth,
Hang in there. You will be fine. You are so strong PLUS you have prayers from so many of us!
I changed my bed linens from flannel to regular weight sheets last week. I may have been too optimistic , it's very chilly here too!
When I dwell on something that almost consumes me, I try to do something brainless.....like playing Angry Birds. I think it leaves my mind still, like in meditation. Somehow it works. You are right, gardening would do the same thing; but Baby it's cold outside.
Fondly, kellie0 -
I love Gardening!
I too put on a winter's hat and gloves the other day just so I can putz in my flower garden. took a potato fork to the 'big' weeds - wanted the whole root! now to sprinkle some Preen today to keep the weeds away!
Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers for a "no activity" scan tomorrow!
Love

Donna I love to tear into things and change stuff around, however here lately the energy to put it back together just isn't always there. So I have found a good routine.
Tear it up, take a nap, put it back together... or talk Jim into putting it back together for me LOL.
Janelle,
I also love to garden, however with this transplant I can't for 6 months. It stinks that I can start digging in the dirt in the middle of winter.
Oh well.
I don't remember being this scared with my very first pet scan, but man oh man this time it's really something else.
I am really looking forward to seeing my sister.0 -

Hi Beth,
I'm so very sorry your feeling stressed and scared. I would be also, I'm sure. I'm keeping you in my prayers and I'll be praying "extra" hard for good results tomorrow. Does watching t.v help distract your scary thoughts? When I get scared, I search through all of the chanels and try to find a funny comedy show to watch. Please share your news as soon as you can tomorrow...I'll be checking in all day. Love ya...Sue (FNHL-2-3a-6/10)0 -

Hi Beth,
I know you are so scared, but remember the end result... I will be thinking of you all day tomorrow. Prayers and ((((hugs)))
Lisha
Best of luck, Beth for the results. It is normal to feel rattled - mine is coming up in June - not looking forward to go thru tests. I know the feeling!!

Beth - thinking and praying for you today and anxious as are others to hear your results from PET scan. I'll check back later tonight and see if you've had time to post.
My hubby and I are a bundle of nerves for my appt. tomorrow - had the PET last Friday and results in the morning. We haven't gone to sleep until 4:00 AM the past 3 nights - really dragging but too nervous to sleep. When the only option is chemo (maybe RIT IF the tumor can get down to 2 cm)and two different ones haven't done the job, it's time to be nervous. May the best come true for us both! Fran0 -

Forgot to add that those of you who are anxious to garden come on down to FL and help me out! It's a 12 month a year job here - we're so dry without months of rain and I'm sick of watering every other day. It was 92 degrees yesterday and the love bug season is here and driving us crazy! So not the time you'd really WANT to visit Florida! Fran0 -

Fran,
My best to you on your appt. Hope you get great news and a plan that works! I go tomorrow. Had an enterography cat scan today- praying the lymphoma isn't in my small bowel but I do have symptoms..
About those love bugs- my brother lives in Port Charlotte and he's been complaining about them as well. I never heard of them until last week. He said they are a mess and they get all over your car during the ''season". Interesting way to fly though!
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Love,
Donna0
