G’day Bob
Great offer but I believe I am about your size just a little taller. My wife got me a lot of new clothing after she got tired of seeing me look like an old sick man. Now I am like you I feel better, it is amazing how just clothing can make a different in our everyday outlook on life.
Take care

You know, I've been holding on to most of them thinking I'd get back to that size but I've only gained about 6-7 pounds since treatment ended and I eat constantly. I tried them all on the other day and saw that sick guy in the mirror again. If no one here needs them I'll just run them over to Salvation Army.

Nice to see your getting rid of stuff. I cleaned out my closet about 3 weeks ago. I had pants so big that it looked like I was wearing my dads! Ha.
I am out of town the next two weeks, but we should try to meet up for a giants game sometime. I'll check the schedule for June and PM you.
Hope all is well with you

Another costly side effect from cancer treatment, not on the physical side but from the expense side. I lost fifty pounds down from about 195 lbs. to 144 lbs. when my treatment ended. I had worked out for about thirty years and had built up much muscle mass. I wore XL or 17 to 17-1/2 neck size shirts, 36" X 30" pants and 44 Regular sport coats and suits. I also went through three phases of clothes. I am at a steady weight now of about 161 lbs. without all the muscle mass I had and have I think finally settled into consistent clothes sizes once again. I had as many pants and suits taken up as possible to help reduce spending on clothing. I have pretty well thinned out all the clothes I can no longer wear. I generally now wear 32-34" waist pants and 16-16-1/2 shirts. All my golf shirts were XL and I now wear Large. Had to alter my 44R coats and probably could now wear 42R coats but coats and suits are so expensive I decided to hang on to my 44R's. I do like my waist size now as it is close to what I was in high school. Don't get me wrong though you do not want to lose weight because of illness especially the horror of radiation and chemo. Never have been one to swap clothes with anyone and I do not remember ever buying used clothes from Goodwill, etc. but when it comes to replacing your entire closet it makes you think about it. I am a wise shopper now and tend to buy my summer clothes when the stores are closing out for the summer and my winter clothes in the same way. Heck, I am about to old now to worry about what is in style.0 -

...Mark is at his 1 year post diagnosos and almost back to his pre-dianosis weight. He had pants and suits taken in during the past year, and he just said to me the other day, "kinda wish I hadn't had all my clothes taken in".
Just a thought,

I kinda agree with the above two posts. If you have enough storage spaces, would recommend keeping some of the clothing. I went from waist size 36 jeans to size 32. Later, the size 32 was too tight and bought 34's. Now, I have to buy new size 36's (slight loose, but better than the 34's). I do not think they sell size 35.0 -

Depends of how big the clothes are. I did a major purge when I was 87 pounds, but I got rid of the things that were a little too big on me when I was diagnosed. I was about 120 - 125 and about a size 4-6. I was at that weight for about three years and felt comfy at it. So anything I had that was above a 6 (8-10- and I had a stray 12) I put in the charity bin or gave to my step mom.
Then in January I was thinking of purging my older clothes again. Getting rid of the 6's. It's a good thing I didn't. My two pairs of jeans, my slacks, and a couple other dresses that I bought when too thin, are now too small. I was 112 at the doctors the other day. I am almost back in my old clothes....
Honestly, I never thought I'd see this weight again. It's been fun to pull out and wear some things I haven't worn that I like from two yrs ago.0
