Pain on right side=Tracie
I am answering your post on a separate posting. For years I have had
pain on and off on my right side just above the waist. When I got the
pain I was paralized and couldn't move or walk. If I was home I had to
lie on my bed and roll from side to side. Or if that didn't help, I would
have to take Moltrin. If I was out, I had to return to my car, and do the
rolling as best as I could.
My doctor ordered all kinds of tests for me. GI series, ct scans, and a Hida
scan. I also had an ultra sound, which showed my abdomen full of gas. Somehow
when my small bowel perforated, and I had my small bowel resected the pain
went away. Now the pain has returned. I am seeing my oncologist tomorrow, May
9. You mentioned your doctor thought it might be a Billary problem. I will
bring this up to her. Hopefully she will order another ultra sound. I would
also want to know if there is a problem with my liver, gallbladder, or
pancreas.
I hope you are feeling better. Please let me know the results of all your tests.
Love Maggie

Dear Tracie,
I thought I posted a later post about the Hida Scan? Perhaps I was dreaming??
LOL. Anyway, the Hida Scan checks for any problems with the gallbladder, liver,
pancreas, and billary tract. Good luck on wednesday. I will post tomorrow about
my visit today, May 9, with the oncologist to see what she says.
God Bless to you, and all on this site. Love Maggie0 -

Dear Tracie,
I am very very sorry for your pain. I know how bad it can get. I know Moltrin helps, if
you are able to take it meanwhile.
Since I had the Hida Scan way back, and nothing showed up, it is gas. I eat lots of cheese and yogurt. Also, lots of vegetables, which caused the gas to return.
Good luck tomorrow, and get some answers. Love Maggie0
