friend has just started chemo

friend has just started chemo for non Hodgkin's lymphoma . He is having severe hiccups
almost like he cant breathe.Then he throws up and feels better.
rituxan treanda are the chemo drugs he is on. Does anyone know about this type of reaction?
It lasts as long as 2 hours at a time..

    I think he needs to call his chemo nurse or on call doctor, now. Not sure what's going on, but it's nothing to mess around with.

    It could be a side effect of one of the drugs. It could be nothing, but please call his doctor.
