Anyone ever take Klonopin?

My MO prescribed a 1 mg. dose for me as needed this week, for restless legs, which I have never had till I started chemo last week and got my Neulasta on Sunday (I am pretty certain its related). I have not needed to take it yet as I only had the problem the one night (called for something that day). However I feel like I may need to take it before I go to bed tonight. Problem is, there is a whole list of scary psych related side effects and it scares the heck out of me. It is supposed to be an anti-seizure and anti-anxiety drug. Has anyone taken it? What have been the effects of it on, if any, good and bad?
Thanks!
Nancy

I took it for awhile with paxil. Didn't have any problems with it, just made me very sleepy.0 -
we use it
Some of the clients we serve in the adult foster care system use this drug. I have not known anyone who needed to switch off of it for side effects and I have been working for a long time in mental health. I know taking new drugs can be scary. It seems to be more scary when those drugs are used for mental health purposes (even if this is not the reason you take it). I think it is extra scary because the effect will be upon your nervous system and/or brain. I know that this drug is not new, so at least if there were a problem to be caused by this drug that would make the FDA want to pull it's approval it would likely have already happened.0 -
