I have finalized the group rate with the Hershey Lodge. The room rate is $189.00 plus tax for a total of $209.79. They will honor this rate a few days before and a few days after our date. If you are interested in staying there, please call them at 1-800-533-3131 and refer to the CSN Sisters in Pink Group. I have 10 rooms reserved and they will hold them until September 1. If we need more rooms, we can get them based on availability. If you are interested in sharing a room (to cut cost like Lili and I are doing), please send me a private message or post here, and I will let you know others that are looking for a roommate. There are other hotels nearby, if you would prefer to stay somewhere else.

The spa of course is optional....there are many things to do in Hershey. They have outlet shopping, the chocolate museum, and Hershey Park is open that weekend.

    Hey Sue,
    We are actually planning on staying Saturday night. I believe a few people are staying 2 nights. They do have lunch at the spa and hopefully, those doing the spa can lunch together on Saturday. Our plan is to meet for dinner on Saturday night because everyone won't be going to the spa.

    My husband has decided
    to come with me to help with the driving. We are 5 1/2 hours away so we'll be leaving Friday afternoon to get to Hershey that night. We will spend 2 nights at the Hershey Lodge.

    Sue, my husband, John is going to entertain himself while I'm at the spa. Maybe our husbands could get together to do something and join us later for the get together dinner.

    I'm looking forward to our spa lunch. I'm still deciding what spa services I would most like to do. After the year we've had it will be fun to do something for ourselves.

    I'm sure our fellas will have a grand time together! What a great idea.

    We are about 4 hours away, so we'll come down early Saturday morning and stay Saturday night. After the winter we've had, I don't want to wish the summer away - but, golly! I can't wait!!!

    If you are considering coming to Hershey, there are other options other than the Hershey Lodge. Sue said there is a Comfort Inn which is half the price! We still have the block of rooms at the Lodge, but feel free to make your reservation wherever you feel comfortable. Luckily, Lili and I are sharing a room so it's cheaper for us.

    you WARRIORS .. Problem is I am meeting Miss Dawne Hope in Viva Las Vegas .. a few weeks before .. seeing if I can swing both ...

    are you and your husband considering the Comfort Inn instead of the Hershey Lodge? I haven't called to make reservations yet. We are members of Choice hotels and Comfort Inn is one of them. It would certainly be cheaper. I would like to be where everyone else is. Is it located close by?

    I have not made reservations yet. The Comfort Inn is located within 3 miles to the park & about 4 miles to the outlets. I never sleep well away from home, so why spend more? We stay at Comfort Inns often. Breakfast, pool are included.

    I googled cheap hotels Hershey and found it for $99. When I call Comfort Inn (instead of making a reservation on line) they quoted $106.56 + tax. The lady asked what was bringing me to Hershey and I told her, she said they could block rooms, but I'd have to speak to Frank regarding prices. So, if anyone is interested....

    I do not wish to take away from Jean's wonderful idea, it's just that I'm having a cheap attack!!! And I can spend more at the outlets, or the spa, or?

    I completely understand, especially since you are coming with your husbands. Lili and I are sharing a room as well as Margo & Penny, and others. So the cost will be less for us. Dot was able to get us a discount at the Lodge. I can't wait!!!!!

    I was wondering about a list too. As time gets closer I would really like a headcount for a project I'm working on...... It's only 6 months away!

    I will talk with my husband about the Comfort Inn. Sue came up with a lower price than my husband did.

    Today is 5 years since I broke my shoulder. Little did I know that in the span of 5 years I would have 12 surgeries. Last but certainly not least was my double mastectomy. My husband and I have only taken 1 vacation in the last 5 years - we went on a Hawaiian cruise last year to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. 3 weeks later I was dx with bc. So he need this little get away in October as much as I do.

    Just trying to get an idea of those that are still interested in attending. I know some of you (Sue & Char) are planning to stay outside Hershey Park. I'd like to get an idea of how many rooms were will be booking at the Hershey Lodge.

    Outlet Malls ... ?
    Oh ... how much fun that will be .. I can shop until I drop! Is there a Williams-Sonoma outlet store in mall ?

    When ever we go to Las Vegas .. I always insist on stopping off at Williams-Sonoma Outlet outside of Vegas .. and Dillards in Las Vegas.
