Frank passed this morning...

in Caregivers #1
...at around 5:25am. His breathing had been steady all night. I suddenly woke up and heard silence. At the same time the aide got up and looked at him, then called my name, and said he is going, talk to him now. I didn't get to see his last breath but I told him I loved hm and that we would always be together in spirit. He went just like that; no struggling, just peacefully.

    So very sorry to hear about Frank. Even though you knew the time was coming, I'm sure it's not going to be easy for awhile. I'm just glad that he passed peacefully . I'm sure he heard you tell him you loved him. Be strong! Carole

    I'm sorry I did not respond before now: my mom passed the same morning. I was with her and holding her when she left this earth.

    I am so sorry for your loss but am so glad you have the comfort of knowing that his passing into the morning light was peaceful. It was a particularly beautiful sunrise here today.
